During the first appointment, we address dental concerns, review the health history, and review medications. The overall health of the client and medications will be taken into consideration to ensure that dental treatment can be safely provided. When necessary, we consult with your family physician to obtain medical clearance prior to starting treatment.

We provide the following services:

Dental hygiene examination

• Review of medical history, dental history, and medications
• Oral cancer screening
• Periodontal charting
• Assessment of dentition and dental charting

Dental scaling

Removal of tartar and plaque above and below the gumline

Polishing

Removal of plaque and stain

Fluoride treatment

Fluoride treatments are only provided for clients who are at high risk for dental decay

Denture Cleaning

Ultrasonic cleaning removes tartar and stain from dentures

Silver Diamine Fluoride

Silver Diamine is applied to the early stages of cavities
